Computer Support and Network Specialist (#CSNSPCPCMO) PCMO
$21.20-$36.67 Hourly / $3,674.67-$6,356.13 Monthly / $44,096.00-$76,273.60 Yearly


This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to users of PC/Apple products, peripheral equipment, networks, communications equipment, and for users’ software and hardware needs.


A Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Technology field; and
Possession of a valid Driver's License.


Four or more  years of experience installing, configuring and supporting computer hardware and software technologies; and
Possession of a valid Driver's License.


An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-specific competencies noted below; and
Possession of a valid Driver's License.

  • Considerable knowledge of software installation, operation, testing and maintenance methods and techniques.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware components and networking hardware.
  • Working knowledge of Apple/MAC/Android products, VMWare.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server OS versions & essential experience.
  • Working knowledge of CISCO network infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of principles and methods applied to MS SQL Server and MS Access database infrastructure, planning, implementation, maintenance and management.
  • Knowledge of relational database design, implementing GIS databases, and integration techniques with ESRI ArcGIS mapping software.
  • Knowledge of Virtualization, SharePoint, and Information Security.
  • Ability to support, install, troubleshoot and maintain Windows OS, MS Office, MS Exchange, Outlook, Active Directory, group policies, Window domain networking, local area networking, remote access software, VPN Technology, virus/spyware removal and recovery, PC imaging, firewalls, mobile devices, and backup and recovery technologies. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve potential and real database and system issues to ensure continued and non-disrupted service to system users. 
  • Ability to create scripts to automate tasks.

  • Provides database and application support by testing applications for usability and functionality, troubleshooting errors, transferring various data into database systems, creating help documentation, assisting users with database software and custom applications.
  • Supports testing, installation and maintenance of server and client software applications, hardware and networks.
  • Provides support for end-users using PC/Apple products including mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
  • Provides network administrative support in Active Directory user accounts, data Backup and recovery, and anti-virus protection.
  • Maintains and administers database infrastructure to ensure efficient storage, backup, and recovery of data; implements Windows and database security methods to ensure the integrity of data.
  • Drives a vehicle to office locations to deliver, pick up, install, troubleshoot equipment problems and/or provide on-site support when required.
  • Receives calls reporting hardware and/or software failures or problems, and provides guidance for their quick solutions remotely utilizing IT support tools.
  • Identifies issues, troubleshoots, takes corrective action and recommends improvements.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
