Performs clerical duties serving as a liaison between the Clerk of Circuit Court and a county agency/department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
An Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field; and
Two years of clerical or administrative experience in a legal setting.
Or
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-specific competencies noted below.

Knowledge of proper processing of citations, docketing, and general recordkeeping.

Ability to accurately maintain files, record data, and provide requested records in a timely manner.
Ability to work closely with judicial employees and judges.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Works closely with judges, judge’s assistants, and the Clerk of Court to maintain legal files, citations, and related court documents for department.
Prepare court dockets by pulling citations and files and notifying officers/supervisors of cases on docket.
Scans and sends files electronically to the appropriate legal departments for filing with the Clerk of Court.
Researches citations, court rulings, judgments, and payments related to department.
May attend court proceedings and document court findings.
Coordinates with Clerk of Court and judge to schedule hearing dates.
Responds to inquiries from government agencies and provides general information.
Answers call from citizens regarding citations, court, and compliance.
Performs other related duties as required.
