JOB OVERVIEW

Performs duties relating to the development and execution of programs, projects and activities primarily for public, private, parochial, home and virtual school students, including, but not limited to: Poster contest, speech contest, Envirothon, Land Judging, and Ag in the Classroom. Additionally, participates as part of the team that presents exhibits at the Hillsborough County Fair, Florida Ag Expo, Florida State Fair, Florida Strawberry Festival, Go Green Festival, Clean Air Fair, and other events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

An Associate's Degree; and
Possession of a valid Driver's License.

Or

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-specific competencies noted below.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

  • Performs all work necessary to achieve success in programs offered for K through 12 students within Hillsborough County.
  • Develops educational materials through use of computer skills.
  • Participates in programs and projects as directed by Executive Director.
  • Provides follow through on all projects, including preparation of post activity thank you notes, etc.
  • Provides assistance and information to the public on conservation activities available within the county.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
