Performs administrative duties in the review and processing of liability and Workers' Compensation claims.


Graduation from high school or possession of a GED Certificate; and
One year of experience in liability or Workers’ Compensation claims service work.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-specific competencies noted below.

  • Reviews for accuracy and completeness automobile, liability and Workers’ Compensation claims.
  • Maintains information on County, State and Federal Workers’ Compensation rules and regulations.
  • Assists in the gathering of information and in the coordination of Workers’ Compensation and employee termination processing actions with claimants, attorneys and health care providers.
  • Advises agencies and department personnel in the preparation of state forms and payroll reporting.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
