Business Analyst I (#BUSAN1GENM) GENM

Performs professional and technical duties analyzing and developing improved managerial policies, practices, methods, procedures, and organizational structures. Duties involve functioning as a staff member engaged in performing responsible research and providing technical assistance to departments and agencies in the review and analysis of organizational structures, procedures, and existing programs. Duties are performed under the general supervision of an immediate supervisor who evaluates performance through observation of work, periodic conferences, critiques, and/or records and reports.


A Bachelor's degree.

  • Performs limited independent research projects, compiles and analyzes data, makes recommendations on proper courses of action, and participates in complex studies in a staff capacity.
  • Assists departmental/agency supervisors in the installation of new procedures and techniques designed to improve managerial functioning.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
