JOB OVERVIEW

Performs duties managing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of specialized projects designed to provide services to the County's aging population.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's degree; and
Two years of experience in community services, social services, aging or health-related programs.

Or
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-specific competencies noted below.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

  • Develops policies and procedures to ensure effective administration of project consistent with State and Federal laws and department regulations and guidelines.
  • Coordinates the planning, development and evaluation of project goals and objectives.
  • Selects, trains and coordinates staff activities.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of service delivery.
  • Prepares budget, documents and controls, and monitors expenditures.
  • Compiles statistics, prepares reports, and oversees the maintenance of files and records.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
