Performs entry level clerical-accounting work under specified processes, procedures and guidance for both clerical and basic accounting level transactions. Work is performed under close supervision where the work assignments are monitored and/or approved and subject to instructions and established work routines with little opportunity for interpretation and/or discretion.
Graduation from high school or possession of a GED Certificate; and
Six months of experience in bookkeeping, financial record keeping or cashiering; or successful completion of a vocational/technical course in bookkeeping, financial record keeping or cashiering. Or
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-specific competencies noted below.
