IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

• Working knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite and standard tables
• Experience designing and executing solutions in the areas of Workflow, Business Events, Web ADI, and OAF Personalizations
• Experience with JDeveloper
• Experience with Oracle’s development tools, including Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and Workflow Builder
• Ability to prioritize, be highly organized and work well under pressure.
• A strong understanding of SDLC and change management methodology.
• Documented experience technically supporting any of the following Oracle applications: Supplier Lifecycle Management, iSupplier Portal, iProcurement, Sourcing, Purchasing, iExpense, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Payroll, HCM, Projects/Grants Accounting and Receivables.
• Ability to triage and troubleshoot complex, user-reported, system defects
• Exposure to OnBase or other imaging software.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Technical Solutions Specialist II (Oracle) position will be responsible for maintaining and supporting solutions, interfaces, integrations, and developing reports for various applications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four year college or university in a related discipline, e.g. B.A. or B.S. in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or Business AND
• 2 years of experience in applicable software solutions

Note: Degree is preferred but will consider candidates with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-specific competencies noted below

• Responsible for system enhancements, new development, and support
• Gathers user requirements, designing, developing and team/business review sessions
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues of considerable complexity
• Assess situations and suggest process improvements
• Document system problems and resolutions for future reference
• Write and maintain system documentation

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

• Develops, writes and maintains complete program documentation to include user instructions.
• Tests programs or scripts, analyzes output, and ensures modifications are made as necessary to meet objectives.
• Maintains and modifies existing systems to support user needs.
• Provides technical assistance and may instruct others in the principles and techniques of programming.
• Evaluates new technological innovations in relation to existing systems and makes recommendations to management.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Conclusion
