Completion of sixth grade;
Two years of experience in the inspection and coordination of contractual and non-contractual services.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel or crouch in confined spaces, sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds.
Occasionally may be required to work beyond work shift, weekends and holidays; must possess a valid driver's license. traveling will be required to conduct department agency on-site visits.

- Performs routine scheduled inspections of contractual and non-contractual County services, ensuring compliance with approved plans, specifications, agreements, contracts, departmental regulations and safety requirements.
- Reviews the performance of contractual and non-contractual County services and reports deficiencies or non-compliance to supervisor, and as directed re-inspects to verify completion of remedial or corrective action.
- Identifies, orders and stocks supplies, materials and inventory required to facilitate contractual and non-contractual County services.
- May oversee the work of contracted and non-contracted workers.
- May perform inspection duties during times of extreme weather supporting emergency needs of the County and general public.
- May assist in completing basic manual labor duties, as required.
- Performs other related duties as required.

- Vision Care: Employees and their dependents are eligible to enroll in the vision coverage. Co-payment coverage includes exams, lens and frame, as well as an allowable contact lens expense. Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
- Employee Assistance Program: This program provides all employees and family members with professional, confidential counseling sessions. All employees and dependents are afforded up to six (6) free visits per Plan year. Coverage begins on the first day of employment.
- Tuition Reimbursement: Employees may be reimbursed up to $1,000 (undergraduate), $2000 (graduate) per fiscal year for classes at an accredited college or university for courses that enhance your ability to perform your current job duties.
- Holidays: Employees receive up to 12 paid holidays per year.
