1. Ensure compliance with the National Amber Alert policy.
2. Promotes the agency's image consistent with the overall direction of the agency.
3. Provide initial and updated information to the media and public using various communication platforms.
4. Drive social media management initiatives to track tips and collaborate with state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies to locate individuals effectively.
5. Provide cancellation notifications to all media and law enforcement.
6. Track and provide audit information to ensure compliance with state and federal mandates.
7. Work with sworn troopers to mitigate runaways through education and social media.
8. Generate analytical reports as requested by the Officer in Charge of PIO.
9. Ensures a mutual sharing of information with other agencies, media, and the public.
10. Perform related duties as required.
11. Coordinates timely and accurate responses and information to citizens, community groups, or governmental agencies.
