This year-round seasonal position will be responsible for the custodial cleaning of bathrooms, facilities, and offices, along with the maintenance of grounds, facilities and equipment in the park. Work is performed indoors and outdoors, weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled to meet facility needs.
Essential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all positions in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class. Since class specifications are descriptive
- Performs grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, trail maintenance, landscape bed maintenance, trash removal, vegetation removal, leaf removal and snow/ice removal.
- Performs custodial services in restrooms, offices, and other buildings.
- Operation of landscaping equipment and use of hand and power tools.
- Set-up, monitoring and clean-up support for park programs and special events.
- Provide excellent customer service and park information to visitors.
- Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Duties will vary for each position.
