This is for multiple opportunities in the full performance and expert levels assigned to work with agencies on issues of increasing complexity, size, high visibility or public interest. This position provides operating and capital budgetary and programmatic expertise to agency heads, fiscal officers, the Legislature, and assists in the development and production of the Governor’s Recommended Budget. A class incumbent is responsible for researching, analyzing and evaluating agency budgets and grant opportunities at the State level. Work involves complex and wide-ranging areas including analysis of grant opportunities; personnel costing; operating and capital forecasting; Federal, State and department mandates; strategic and long-range plans; and legislation.
