The Residential Services Section serves property owners and their selected contractors and appointed agents. The scope of services includes drinking water wells, septic systems and other residential activities that affect water resources in the ground.

The Engineering/Planning/Surveying Technician in this position will provide high level support to the Residential Services Section and serve as our lead field services and support technician. The employee selected for this position will process and review permit applications from the regulated community related to both water well construction and on-site wastewater treatment and disposal systems in accordance with applicable regulations and policies. Primary duties of this position involve permit processing, staff training, enforcement support, staff oversight, distribution of workload, and review of soil site evaluations. The candidate in this position will perform on-site inspections and review property history to support application information.
