The
Digital Accessibility Senior Manager is responsible for researching, defining,
and implementing digital accessibility processes and tools. This includes
working closely with multiple external partners and internal stakeholders to
ensure the State of Delaware government delivers an inclusive digital
experience by enforcing compliance with the latest regulatory standards for
digital accessibility, both as part of ongoing digital operations and
enterprise level digital projects.
As
the primary point of contact for digital accessibility, the Digital
Accessibility Senior Manager will establish and maintain scalable governance
controls necessary in achieving the required level of digital accessibility
throughout the development lifecycle. Reporting to the Application Delivery and
Support Director to define, prioritize, and incorporate both compulsory and
voluntary digital accessibility changes within the overall digital product
roadmap. The Digital Accessibility Senior Manager will balance their focus
across both current and future digital experiences by remaining informed of
global and domestic digital accessibility standards and best practices, while
developing, maintaining, and socializing digital accessibility standards. The Senior Application Development
Manager will report to the Department Director.

demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
Criminal background check: A satisfactory fingerprint based
criminal background check administered by the Delaware State Police is required
as a Condition of Hire.
