This is a Casual/Seasonal position which is a non-pension eligible position without healthcare and/or other benefits.
Prior to assignment, appointees must successfully complete multiple day trainings which will require physical components. This course is administered by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control and will be held in May, 2025. Coursework includes but is not limited to report writing, defensive tactics, ethics, rules and regulations, radio procedures, ASP baton, Oleoresin Capsicum spray (Training and Exposure), and first aid/CPR.DNREC does not provide sponsorship for holders of H-1 B Visas.
