The Cash and Debt Manager directs the daily activities of the Investment/Accounting section of the Pension Office, which supports a multi-plan pension system with a $12 billion portfolio invested in a complex, diversified asset allocation. This position is a key contact with outside auditors, the actuary, investment consultants, and banks; and is the subject matter expert in governmental accounting and reporting. Additionally, the position directly oversees and supports cash flows, investment funding, reconciliations to information systems, maintenance of a separate financial reporting system, and compilation of the annual comprehensive financial report.
