The ARPA Compliance Officer provides oversight to the administration of funds for the American Rescue Plan program. This position will work closely with contracted compliance firms to manage the oversight of ARPA subrecipients. The position will also conduct internal reviews, assist state agencies and grant partners, and assist in report preparation.

Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
Conduct internal reviews to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
Collaborate with program managers to ensure grant-funded projects align with program goals.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Gather and review reports to federal agencies and partners.
Provide training and guidance to outside partners and state agencies on grant-related matters.
Maintain a comprehensive and organized record-keeping system for compliance-related documents, including grant applications, financial reports, and correspondence with outside agencies.
Regularly report compliance and reporting status to senior management, summarizing findings, and project concerns.
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that all data and reports submitted to regulatory agencies are accurate and complete.
Research compliance issues, inquiries and review corrective action plans.
