Summary Statement

Incumbent assists with the configuration, maintenance, and management of Active Directory Domain, messaging, and collaborative services. Has responsibility for the identification and resolution of hardware and software technical problems related to these core services as well as providing 2nd level support to the Helpdesk, agency technical personnel, and DTI Operations staff.

Selective Requirement

Selective Requirements must be met in addition to the job requirements.  Applicants who do not possess the selective requirement will not be qualified.

  • Minimum of one year of experience in the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting in one or more technologies: Active Directory/Azure Active Directory, Cisco IronPort, Microsoft SCCM/SCOM, Microsoft Exchange Server/Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online, or Microsoft 365 Power Platform

Preferred Qualification

Applicants who do not possess the preferred qualification will still be eligible to compete for this position if job requirements are met.

  • Candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in automation through PowerShell scripting will be preferred.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS for DTI Telecom Technologist – Enterprise Collaborative Services

Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: 

  • Technical Training or equivalent experience with core systems and services such as Microsoft Office 365,  servers, core software, systems management and monitoring.
  • Possess a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in enterprise environments.
  • Possess experience with system hardware including servers.
  • Possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in problem resolution, communication and writing skills.
  • Possess knowledge of system analysis

Conditions of Hire

Criminal background check: A satisfactory fingerprint based criminal background check administered by the Delaware State Police is required as a Condition of Hire.
