The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing Accounts
Receivable and Accounts Payable functions for the court’s three statewide
counties. This requires a keen attention to detail, good organizational skills
and adept application of knowledge of various software applications including
MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe. The Senior Accountant will be the primary liaison
with outside vendors and case participants for the resolution of billing
related matters in Chancery cases. The Senior Accountant will be expected to
organize and maintain records that will provide the support for financial
analysis and development of financial reports. The Senior Accountant reports to
the Fiscal Administrative Officer and works in tandem with that individual in
completing assignments related to fiscal monthly and year end deadlines. This
requires a comprehensive, broad knowledge of accounting theories, principles,
practices, and procedures.
