Become part of a dynamic team leading Compensation for the State of Delaware, Department of Human Resources. We are searching for the top-level Administrator of our Statewide Compensation function to be in strategic partnership with Classification and Talent Acquisition.
This position will administer the Statewide Compensation function. Work includes the development of policies and procedures, management of 90 salary administration plans, and oversight of 16 different compensation processes. This position supervises through managers, a staff of Human Resource Analysts. Duties also include strategic planning at the State level, establishing short and long-term goals and objectives, as well as establishment of best practices to maximize resources, effectiveness, and compliance. This position will serve as the recognized expert on compensation human resource functions for the State.
Applicants who do not possess the preferred qualification will still be eligible to compete for this position if job requirements are met.
6 months experience in the advanced functionality of Microsoft Excel, such as formula/function library, data manipulation, import/export of data and linking multiple spreadsheets.
Three years of professional human resource experience AND a Statewide Human Resource Certification or professional human resource certification.
