Summary Statement

Incumbent is assigned duties to serve as the enterprise architect involved in all aspects of the project life cycle, from the initial stages through the requirements analysis, design, procurement, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance. This role provides services to various and complex agencies. In this role, employees provide leadership and direction to project implementation teams and assures the solution built conforms to standards and produces the desired business outcomes.  Produces solution cost estimates based upon upfront implementation costs and ongoing support costs.  Provides oversight on updates to emerging, changing, and retiring technology standards. This role provides training and mentoring of less experienced team members as needed.

This position reports to the Enterprise Architecture and Solution Integration Team Director. The focus of this position will be to work with partner agencies and DTI teams to ingrate compliant solutions.

  • Applicant must possess a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Preferred Qualification

Applicants who do not possess the preferred qualification will still be eligible to compete for this position if job requirements are met.

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Computer Science, Information Systems, I/T discipline or a related field.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Enterprise Architect
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

  • Possess a minimum of six years of experience in two or more Core Technologies
  • Possess a minimum of one year of experience working with Microsoft Office applications and virtual meeting tools
  • Possess a minimum of three years of experience working with customers, key partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Possess good communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.

Conditions of Hire
