The incumbent is responsible for supervising and assessing the work of staff who prepare collections-related documents. Work includes assisting staff in the application of law to cases, reviewing taxpayer accounts to ensure collection of outstanding balances due, reviewing and approving of judgments and garnishment documents, identifying and resolving errors, and responding to taxpayer concerns. In addition, incumbent develops and implements training programs to provide staff with the knowledge needed to process documents.
