The Division of Contributions and Plan Management (CPM) oversees the design, implementation and overall administration of the State’s Deferred Compensation Plans, College Investment Plan, and Achieving a Better Life Experience Program (each a Plan and, collectively, Plans). CPM serves as the administrative arm for the Plans Management Board (Board), the body legislatively charged as the sponsor of the Plans. The overarching goals of CPM are to oversee the adequacy of returns on, safe-keeping of, and legal compliance with, participant funds in the Plans; design and manage the Plans to minimize overall costs while providing service levels that meet the range of participants’ needs; and promote the Plans in order to maximize participation rates and achieve sufficient levels of participant savings.
The role of the Executive Assistant is to provide CPM and the Board with analytic, research and communication support and to coordinate projects that are outside the scope of its ordinary operations. In addition, this position has responsibility for the formulation of policy responses in connection with the Plans. Finally, this position provides strategic support to the Office and assist the State Treasurer with specific policy initiatives as requested.
Essential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all positions in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class. Since class specifications are descriptive and not restrictive, incumbents can complete job duties of similar kind not specifically listed here.
