Summary Statement

The Quality Assurance (QA) Social Service Senior Administrator is a senior management role responsible for overseeing the Division of Social Services’ quality assurance processes and ensuring the agency’s eligibility, case processing, case management, Information Technology systems meet State and Federal standards. This role develops and implements quality strategies, leads teams, and collaborates with other divisions and departments to drive continuous improvement in quality.

  • Developing and Implementing Quality Assurance Strategies: This includes defining quality standards, creating quality management systems, and establishing processes for monitoring and improving quality.
  • Leading and Managing Quality Teams: Oversee QA managers and staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team is effective and efficient.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Ensure that the DSS work product and processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: This involves identifying areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Collaborating with others: The QA Senior Administrator builds collaborative working relationships with DSS teams, federal partners, Vendors, and other DHSS divisions and departments, to integrate quality into all aspects of the work of DSS.
  • Monitoring and Analyzing Quality Data: This includes tracking key quality metrics, identifying trends, and using data to drive decision-making.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budget for the quality assurance department.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships and contracts with external vendors and ensuring their quality standards are met.
  • Reporting and Communication: Communicate quality status and performance to senior management and other stakeholders.
