The program provides incentives as follows:
NOTE: You must be a new employee to the State of Delaware to be
eligible for the Sign-On Bonus. This program is administered by the Department
of Health and Social Services. The program will run through June 30, 2022, but
may be terminated by the State at any time.
This position will oversee federal and state
intake and triage of complaints and facility reported incidents for the
Division of Health Care Quality (DHCQ); use knowledge of applicable state,
federal and local laws, rules, and regulations to appropriately triage
complaints and facility reported incidents; determines level of
seriousness; prepares reports regarding triage
data as required; and provides supervision of reporting staff. In
addition, you will conduct in-service training programs with health care
facilities or other stakeholders to educate on the intake and triage process.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Compliance Nurse:
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
1. At least two year's experience as a Registered Nurse;
OR
Bachelors' degree or higher in Nursing AND at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse;
OR
Masters' degree or higher in Nursing;
AND
2. Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license OR multi-state compact license
