as a Human Resource Manager for the State of Delaware's Department of Human
Resources.
This is an exciting opportunity to be key team member managing classification work at the State level.
This human resource
professional will manage a Statewide Classification function. Work
includes oversight and approval of statewide critical reclassifications,
position establishments, class specs, job requirements, promotional standards,
maintenance reviews, under-fill requests, making recommendations on
classification processes and answering classification questions. We are
searching for a manager to oversee special project work from project initiation
through planning, execution, monitoring, and implementation. Work will include
daily supervision of staff and oversight of the team that is conducting
in-depth research and analysis to make recommendations. This work requires
excellent communication skills as this position must lead meetings with the
internal team, as well as agency subject matter experts and HR Business
Partners. This position utilizes Excel and requires the ability to work in
spreadsheets with formulas, filtering, pivot tables, lookup tables and
application of regression formula.
