This position reports directly to the Telecommunications/Network Technologist Supervisor and is responsible for the telecommunications technology planning, designing, configuring, and installing the most complex data network infrastructure, evolution, and migrations to next-generation networks. The incumbent in this position will work in the Information Technology Office and provide 24/7 365 support and oversight for the departments mission-critical network and serve

Note: This classification can support only the large scale, most complex data networks and some of the agencies employing mid-range data networks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Telecommunications/Network Technologist III
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
Pre-employment Drug Testing: Upon a conditional offer, you must undergo pre-employment drug testing as part of the hiring prococess.
Upon a conditional offer, the applicant must undergo a pre-employment base line two step tuberculin skin test (TST) as part of the hiring process.
