The Division of Parks and Recreation preserves cultural and historic resources, from a Civil War-era fort to elegant estates. And it provides a wide variety of recreational and educational opportunities for Delawareans and visitors.

This program engages MILITARY VETERANS in a limited term of employment to gain training, certification, and skills in natural resource management. Staff report to KPSP or BVSP but may perform work in parks all three counties. Members will perform duties within the Environmental Stewardship, Trails and Arborist Program promoting the wise management and conservation of native wildlife and plant species within northern Delaware State Parks and Nature Preserves.
Work is performed indoors, outdoors, evenings, and holidays as scheduled to meet Park needs.
