The Office of Management and Budget Financial Operations Team supporting Division of Facilities Management (DFM) is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking financial professional to join our team as a Fiscal Advisor IV. DFM plays a critical role in supporting state government operations through the management of state facilities, including capital improvement projects, building maintenance, custodial operations, energy management, real estate activities, and other essential services that ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable state-owned assets.
The Fiscal Advisor IV serves as a key financial partner responsible for analyzing complex financial data, managing budgets, supporting capital and operational planning, ensuring compliance with state policies and regulations, and driving continuous improvement across fiscal operations. This role goes beyond traditional accounting by leading process improvements, strengthening internal controls, developing meaningful reporting and forecasting tools, and partnering with leadership and program areas to maximize the effective use of public resources. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who takes ownership of challenges, identifies opportunities to improve systems, supports and develops staff, and delivers innovative solutions that promote accountability, transparency, and excellence in state government.
