The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has been established as an independent and nonpartisan agency to detect and deter fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, and corruption in or affecting state government.
This position will oversee, lead, and conduct the investigation of fraud, waste, misuse, mismanagement, and corruption in or affecting Delaware State Government. The incumbent will work collaboratively with other OIG personnel, law enforcement, and other oversight partners.

The incumbent may work at the Warr Building (60 E. Loockerman St., Dover, DE 19901) or Carvel State Office Building (820 N French St, Wilmington, DE 19801) based on operational needs.

All new hires are required to report to the Statewide New Employee Orientation (SNEO) on their first day of employment. Sessions are held at designated locations in Kent or New Castle County.
