The mission
of the Planning Division is to provide excellence in transportation through an
inclusive and comprehensive transportation planning and permitting process that
seeks solutions to the state's transportation needs by balancing safety,
choice, environmental stewardship, economic development, financial
accountability, and quality of life.

This position will work within the Active Transportation and Community Connections Section and be responsible for overseeing the development of long-range multi-modal transportation projects and planning studies with communities and stakeholders. Work will include developing, managing, and tracking plans, budgets, and programs to support and promote multi-modal transportation. Candidates should have a high degree of understanding in civil engineering or site plan design, project scheduling, financial management, grant management, as well as public outreach and engagement skills.
