Summary Statement

The People & Culture Coordinator provides operational and programmatic support to advance the Department of Human Resources Division of People and Culture initiatives. This role supports the coordination, communication, and ongoing monitoring of People & Culture initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, promote inclusion, and enhance overall workplace experience. The position assists in translating strategic initiatives into actionable processes, data insights, and measurable outcomes across the organization.

Essential Functions

Employee Recognition Program Support

  • Assist in coordinating department wide recognition initiatives, including: 
    • Division-level recognition activities 
    • Biannual Impact Awards 
    • Annual Culture & Excellence Celebration 
  • Support the development and distribution of program communication and materials
  • Assist in preparing materials for review panels and employee voting processes 
  • Support planning and logistics for recognition events and activities 

Organizational Culture Assessment Support

  • Assist in the development and administration of culture climate surveys 
  • Support survey communication and employee engagement efforts 
  • Monitor response rates and assist in strategies to increase participation
  • Assist in summarizing key findings and identifying trends 

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide logistical and coordination support for meetings, events, and initiative
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with internal teams

Learning and Development

  • Assist in coordinating logistics for L&D sessions including 
    • Scheduling sessions and managing calendars
    • Managing participant registration and attendance tracking 
    • Support preparation of session materials
    • Ensure all learning sessions are set up effectively 
    • Assist in managing session reminders and follow-up communications 
  • Support the execution of the Organizational Culture roll out
    • Support coordination of monthly learning sessions and reinforcement activities 
    • Assist in the execution of quarterly learning labs 
    • Support the logistical planning and coordination of Leadership Labs 
    • Capture key takeaways and support documentation of outcomes 
    • Assist in tracking leadership commitments and follow up actions

Additional Posting Information

This is a Casual/Seasonal position which is a non-pension eligible position without healthcare and/or other benefits.

Conditions of Hire
