The State Council for Persons with Disabilities (SCPD) Policy
Administrator reviews statewide policies, legislation and regulations. The SCPD Policy Administrator plays a pivotal
part with the Councils position as a liaison between the policy makers and
people with disabilities living in Delaware.
A significant aspect of the duties involves promoting the coordination
among all state programs relating to persons with disabilities, assist with
reviewing all state policies, plans, programs and activities concerning persons
with disabilities which are conducted or assisted, in whole or part, by state
departments, agencies or funds to determine whether such policies, programs,
plans and activities effectively meet the needs of persons with disabilities.
Assist the State Council for Persons with Disabilities
with making recommendations to the Governor, the General Assembly and all state
departments and agencies respecting ways to improve the administration of
services for persons with disabilities.
This is a Casual/Seasonal position which is a non-pension eligible position without healthcare and/or other benefits.
