Summary Statement
The Program Integrity Specialist will support the Delaware Prescription Opioid Settlement Distribution Commission (POSDC). The primary responsibility of this role is to provide comprehensive grant management for POSDC-funded initiatives aimed at addressing the opioid crisis in Delaware. The Program Integrity Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that grant activities are administered effectively, that grant recipients adhere to compliance requirements, and that program outcomes are measured and reported accurately. This position also involves supporting the implementation of the POSDC’s strategic plan, co-facilitating committee meetings, and generating various reports and summaries.
Selective Requirement

- Experience in grants or project management
- Experience in technical report writing
Preferred Qualification
Applicants who do not possess the preferred qualification will still be eligible to compete for this position if job requirements are met.
- 1 year of experience in facilitating project meetings to elicit information, define business processes and requirements, and monitor the progress/status of projects
- Knowledge of the social service system
Essential Functions

- Administer and manage grants awarded by the POSDC.
- Oversee all aspects of the grant lifecycle, including grant awarding, monitoring of grant activities, and measuring outputs and outcomes.
- Engage with grantees through regular communication, including conducting site visits to assess program implementation and compliance.
- Ensure overall compliance with grant terms, conditions, and reporting requirements.
- Support the implementation of the POSDC’s strategic plan.
- Facilitate committee meetings and activities, providing project management support.
- Work directly with committee members on assigned tasks, ensuring effective coordination and completion.
- Prepare a variety of reports, summaries, blog posts, and other written materials to communicate program activities, outcomes, outcomes, and impact.
Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Administrative Management
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree in political science, public administration, communications, journalism, English or closely related curriculum and two years of professional experience in lobbying, governmental relations, political campaigns, broadcasting, communications, or public relations.

An equivalent combination of training and experience required.
- Two years state, federal OR local legislative experience.
- Two years DHSS administered programs experience.
- Two years project management experience.
- Two years' experience analyzing and interpreting legislation and policy.
- Two years' experience working with people from diverse academic and diverse cultures.
