Due to the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, DTI has implemented temporary telecommuting arrangements for newly hired employees whose job duties are conducive to working from home. These arrangements are expected to be short term and will be monitored by DTI supervisors.

Summary Statement

The Department of Technology and Information Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Technical Specialist will participate in the development, implementation and postimplementation support of ERP software. Primary responsibilities include the ability to identify and solve technical issues, accommodate any new legal or policy changes with a minimum of customization, and implement additional functionality as new modules are approved.

Position will be responsible for providing programming support in all modules, writing organizational data interfaces, creating adhoc reports, analyzing and applying vendor patches and fixes, tuning programs to enhance performance.

Selective Requirement

Selective Requirements must be met in addition to the job requirements. Applicants who do not possess the selective requirement will not be qualified.

  • Possess a minimum of one-year recent application development experience in any high-level programming language.

Preferred Qualification

Applicants who do not possess the preferred qualification will still be eligible to compete for this position if job requirements are met.

  • Possess recent experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) or PeopleSoft Financial Chain Management System (FSCM).
  • Possess experience with PeopleTools, SQL, SQR, PeopleCode, and Application Engine.
  • Possess experience with Nvision and XML Publisher (BI).
  • Possess experience with cloud applications.

  • Possess a minimum of one-year technical experience supporting enterprise-wide software.
  • Participated in a major software implementation.
  • Possess formal training on ERP-specific languages, databases, utilities.

Conditions of Hire
