The position involves coordination of utility work and
relocations in conjunction with capital projects. Responsibilities include coordinating and
meeting with utility companies, designers, contractors, etc. to determine the
location of existing utilities, if there is conflict and how to best avoid or
resolve utility conflicts. The primary responsibility is to coordinate proposed
capital work with utility companies to minimize construction impacts, prepare
utility statements, review utility submissions, track project submissions and
utility related issues that may arise during construction. This position is
considered Report When Contacted (RWC) and may have to report during emergency
situations and severe weather events. Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
