Summary Statement

A variety of seasonal park positions may be available at Indian River Marina:   

IRM Operations Support/Contract Desk - position is responsible for welcoming Marina visitors, disseminating information regarding the marina and waterfront cottages and the execution of slipholder agreements and billings.

IRM Night Watch - is responsible for late night cottage arrivals, patrolling cottage grounds, assisting tenants with any problems within the cottages, and collecting revenue for the transient slip holders.

Work is performed indoors and outdoors, weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled to meet facility needs.

Essential Functions

  • May provide check in services to cottage patrons.
  • May performs vehicle and foot patrol of assigned area.
  • May collect appropriate fees for fuel sales /cottage damage deposits.
  • May perform custodial services for the dock.
  • Provide excellent customer service and park information to visitors.
  • Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

IRM Operations Support/Contract Desk

  1. Six months customer service experience.
  2. Six months experience in cash handling, writing receipts.
  3. Six months experience in using standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets or databases.

IRM Night Watch

  1. Must be at least 21 years of age.
