The incumbent is responsible for the creation, coordination, & release of information across multiple platforms with multiple partner agencies for both daily and crisis communications. The incumbent creates engaging content that exemplifies DEMA brand standards, & proactively creates interactive opportunities across messaging initiatives. Types of content include but are not limited to media memos, press releases, interviews& social media posts. This position is also responsible for media and constituent relations.
All DEMA personnel are essential personnel required to work in the Emergency Operations Center 24/7 when activated.Essential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all positions in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class.
