Two Biological Aide positions are available for the Fish and Wildlife Division. One position will work on fisheries surveys throughout Delaware under the supervision of Scientist or other qualified personnel using various capture methods, which include seining, trawling, electrofishing, and gill netting. Work hours may include early morning and nighttime hours.
The second position will monitor Division of Fish & Wildlife-owned lakes and ponds for the occurrence and extent of algae or plant coverage, apply aquatic herbicides and assist with the freshwater trout program under the supervision of a Scientist or other qualified personnel. The incumbent will apply herbicides while wearing protective gear and under adverse weather conditions
