This position is responsible for managing the Engineering
Support section which is responsible for developing and maintaining the
Standard Construction Details, Specifications, project controls, CADD
resources; for conducting post construction and ADA compliance inspections;
preparing and reviewing PS&E packages for advertisement; and facilitating
department technical trainings. Duties
also include the implementation of program/process reviews, technical document
development/updates, committee and working group leadership, and serve as the
Value Engineering Coordinator.
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Engineer Program Manager II (Department of Transportation Only)
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
1. Possession of a valid Delaware Professional Engineering License OR Possession of a valid Professional Engineering license issued by a proper authority of a state, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia, or a province or territory of Canada.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
