Due to the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, DTI has implemented temporary telecommuting arrangements for newly hired employees whose job duties are conducive to working from home. These arrangements are expected to be short term and will be monitored by DTI supervisors.
The IT Procurement Officer serves
a critical role in the Department of Technology and Information (DTI) and works
closely and proactively with the lead IT Procurement Officer and the state’s Division
of Government Support Services to procure IT services and/or products to meet
department and state agencies IT needs.
Responsible for the preparation,
management, and oversight of contracting activity, such as Request for
Proposals and Statements of Work, to support the procurement for hardware,
software, professional services, telecommunication equipment/services, and other
contracts as deemed necessary by the Department.
Responsible for managing
delegated contracts and provide technical assistance to state agencies on the
IT offerings in state contracts.

must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in
