Summary Statement

The job responsibilities associated with this position relate to reviewing and analyzing processes associated with organizational effectiveness and efficiency; responsible for applying regulatory standards; identifying issues based on relevant data and defining problem resolutions; and instructing DPC staff. Also tracking credentialing, certification, licensing of all DPC staff.  The position will maintain folders on all staff as outlined by the joint commission for each staff. This position will also monitor performance plan, evaluations and dates and time for performance plans and practices to meet the goals of the organization. The individual will also be tasked with generating and submitting reports to executive leadership staff to influence change to policies and practices where and when necessary

  • Interviews agency staff, observes work processes and gathers data relating to operational and managerial practices and procedures for use in evaluating services provided and/or determining compliance to goals and objectives.
  • Reviews, performs statistical analysis and interpretation of collected data relating to policies, procedures, organization, managerial and operational practices; Defines and may make recommendations for correcting problems.
  • Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
  • Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
  • Provides technical assistance in understanding and developing management objectives and controls for resolution of issues and concerns.
  • Studies pertinent background material such as legislation, administrative orders and regulations.
  • Makes recommendations for and assists in the implementation of new techniques or procedures to improve methods of operations, strengthen controls, and effectively utilize resources.
  • Documents findings of studies and prepares recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
  • May supervise administrative support and/or paraprofessional staff.  Supervision is exercised over at least two or more merit full time positions per the Merit Rules. The elements of supervision include planning, assigning, reviewing, evaluating, coaching, training, recommending hire/fire and discipline.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Management Analyst III
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

  1. Three years experience in conducting studies which includes evaluating operations, programs, services, policies and procedures to determine efficiency, effectiveness, whether goals and objectives are met and compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  2. Three years experience in descriptive statistics such as the mean, median, mode or standard deviation.
  3. Three years experience in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.   
  4. Six months experience in designing studies which includes determining study goals and objectives, information needed, data sources, sampling and collection methods.
  5. Six months experience in making recommendations for continuation or changes to operations, programs, services, policies or procedures based on findings.
  6. Six months experience in narrative report writing.
  7. Knowledge of inferential statistics such as correlation, t-tests, f-tests or analysis of variance.

This is a Casual/Seasonal position which is a non-pension eligible position without healthcare and/or other benefits.

Due to a new requirement from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) the following mandate is effective January 27, 2022: As a condition of employment, employees providing health care services and/or support services in covered facilities must show proof that they have received the dose of a single J&J dose or the 1st dose of Moderna/Pfizer two-dose vaccine effective date January 27, 2022, and proof of the single J&J dose or the 2nd dose of Moderna/Pfizer two-dose vaccine by February. 28, 2022. Employees may not provide any care, treatment, or other services until proof is provided.  Based on CMS guidance, the date for compliance may extend into March due to the health care facilities high vaccination rate of staff.  If you accept a position with the facility, your Human Resources representative can provide more guidance.  The only exception to these requirements is for those employees granted medical or religious exemptions from the COVID-19 vaccine as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which may require weekly COVID-19 testing. Pre-employment Drug Testing:  Upon a conditional offer, you must undergo pre-employment drug testing as part of the hiring process.


Criminal background check:  A satisfactory criminal background check is required as a condition of hire.  The recruiting agency may require the applicant to pay for the criminal background check as part of the conditional offer of hire.


Upon a conditional offer, the applicant must undergo a pre-employment base line two step tuberculin skin test (TST) as part of the hiring process.
