Scope of Work:
The Nursing Recruitment Manager will partner with DHSS nursing leadership State-wide to develop business-specific strategies to reduce the vacancy rate, reduce the time-to-fill, and improve retention. Working in collaboration with the Department of Human Resources centralized Talent Acquisition Group, the Nursing Recruitment Manager under the direction of DHSS Human Resources leadership they will develop and manage creative recruitment marketing strategies and sourcing plans. Together they will audit their processes and measure performance to determine the most efficient and effective methods for attracting and retaining qualified nursing talent, while meeting the ongoing nurse staffing needs of the State-wide health care facilities. This position includes Statewide travel with a State vehicle.

Under the general direction of the HR Director the incumbent will develop and manage a full life-cycle of recruitment and retention including:
Criminal background check: A satisfactory criminal background check is required as a condition of hire. The recruiting agency may require the applicant to pay for the criminal background check as part of the conditional offer of hire.
Pre-employment Drug Testing: Upon a conditional offer, you must undergo pre-employment drug testing as part of the hiring process.
As a condition of hire you must possess a valid driver's license (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving).
Upon a conditional offer, the applicant must undergo a pre-employment base line two step tuberculin skin test (TST) as part of the hiring process.
