Summary Statement

The Department of Technology and Information Senior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Architect will participate in the planning, requirements, design, coding, testing, debugging, system integration, and documenting of software components of complex, multi-tier government systems.  

Primary responsibilities include requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, debugging, system integration, planning and implementing process improvements, and documenting of software components of complex, multi-tier government systems. The ERP Architect will work with a diverse group of team members to deliver software solutions on time, on budget and within specifications. Collaborate with applicable solutions architects to ensure the consistency of technology solutions, development, and documentation across the service area applications for all work units.  

Position will be responsible for providing programming support in all modules, writing organizational data interfaces, creating ad hoc reports, analyzing and applying vendor patches and fixes, tuning programs to enhance performance. Plan and implement process improvements while integrating enterprise wide solutions.

Candidate’s experience must include proven Project Management, planning, PeopleSoft internet Architecture, data archiving, third party interfaces/applications, and robust ERP Reporting Skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for ERP Senior Architect

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in IT, related field OR equivalent work experience.
  • Possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience of Web/ Client Server programming with a minimum of 4 years in building web applications.
  • Possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience in ERP technologies with at least 10 years in ERP tools and Technology.

Conditions of Hire

Criminal background check: A satisfactory fingerprint based criminal background check administered by the Delaware State Police is required as a Condition of Hire.
