EPS Techs in our Traffic Signal Construction section are required to oversee and inspect the construction of traffic signals, traffic cameras, underground conduit, concrete curbs and sidewalks, and other electronic traffic devices. They manage several projects at once and supervise contractors hired by the Department as well as coordinate their work with larger DelDOT road projects. They will perform daily calculations of quantities used in construction projects and write daily reports to record progress and document any issues.
