Summary Statement

Department of Technology and Information Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Senior Project Leader will provide leadership in the upgrade, development, implementation and post-implementation support of ERP software.

Principal responsibilities include the supervision and mentoring of a team of developers and providing leadership in the planning, requirements, design, construction, system integration, and documenting of complex ERP systems.  

Responsible for mapping functional and technical requirements to ERP delivered functionality for the purpose of maintaining a minimum amount of software customization.  Candidate will participate in multiple reengineering initiatives to ensure best business practices are being met.  Must have a working knowledge of project methodologies and the ability to construct and monitor ERP project plans.

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work as a supervisor as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Selective Requirement

  • Minimum of 5 years' recent experience actively supporting ERP systems required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience using SQL, PeopleCode, SQR, PeopleTools, Application Engine, Crystal Reports, nVision, and Object-Oriented Programming required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with Quality Assurance and Policy & Procedures implementation as they relate to ERP development required.

  • Possess a Bachelors’ Degree in IT or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience of staff supervision or performing as lead overseeing the work of others.
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience with programming concepts, design, procedures and practices, including a proficiency in all stages of the ERP life cycle.
