DNREC staff track Delaware’s air quality, develop policy and regulations as well as issue air quality forecasts and warnings. They monitor industries and other sources of air pollution and work with businesses and citizens to reduce air pollution. DNREC also regulates activities such as open burning and the handling of asbestos.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Engineer Program Manager I
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. DNREC does not provide sponsorship for holders of H-1 B Visas.
As a condition of hire you must possess a valid driver's license (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving).
As a condition of hire, if the applicant does not possess a valid Delaware Professional Engineering License, the applicant must agree as a requirement of employment to obtain a valid Delaware Professional Engineering License within 180 days of employment.
