Pre-employment Drug Testing: Upon a conditional offer, you must undergo pre-employment drug testing as part of the hiring process.
DelDOT Medical Exam: Applicants who meet the job requirements for the position, and who are made a conditional offer of employment, shall be required to meet the physical qualifications and examination requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations to hold a commercial driver’s license unless they are approved for either an Intra-State CDL Waiver of a Federal Waiver or Exemption. In addition, applicants must not have incurred four or more serious traffic violations during the previous three years as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Code. The Department of Transportation will obtain driving record information maintained by the Division of Motor Vehicles for the preceding three year period.
As a condition of hire you must possess a valid CDL Class A or B drivers license (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving) OR obtain one during the initial 90-day probationary period.Criminal background check: A satisfactory criminal background check is required as a condition of hire. The recruiting agency may require the applicant to pay for the criminal background check as part of the conditional offer of hire.
