Summary Statement

This position supports the dental portable team by making and distributing oral health packets and supplies to program locations. Duties: operates a state dental van to transport staff, dental equipment and supplies for portable dental services, set up and breakdown mobile dental equipment, provide administrative support for the mobile operations, escorts children to and from classrooms, record height, weight and temperature.

Essential Functions

  • Operates vehicles providing inter-community transportation of incapacitated persons and volunteer workers.
     
  • Ensures seating and wheelchair restraints are appropriate to the specific needs of each person.
     
  • Performs routine maintenance to ensure safe mechanical condition and cleanliness of vehicles.
     
  • Assists with passengers boarding and exit of vehicles and other facilities.
     
  • May operate facility support service vehicles such as trash, laundry and food trucks.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Attendant Chauffeur
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

  1. Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving). 

Conditions of Hire
