Summary Statement

The Department of Technology and Information Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Technical Specialist will participate in the development, implementation and post-implementation support of ERP software.  

Primary responsibilities include the ability to identify and solve technical issues, accommodate any new legal or policy changes with a minimum of customization, and implement additional functionality as new modules are approved.  

Position will be responsible for providing programming support in all modules, writing organizational data interfaces, creating adhoc reports, analyzing and applying vendor patches and fixes, tuning programs to enhance performance.

  • Possess a bachelors degree in IT, related field OR equivalent work experience.
  • Possess formal training on ERP specific languages, databases, and utilities.
  • Possess a minimum of one year technical experience.

Conditions of Hire

Criminal background check: A satisfactory fingerprint based criminal background check administered by the Delaware State Police is required as a Condition of Hire.
